Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between WAW & WEB?
The WAW Competition is built around a gamified learning adventure. Students earn points and trophies through various channels—course quizzes, team projects, speaking and writing challenges, exams, and more. Their performance is tracked on international leaderboards, where they are ranked based on the total points accumulated throughout their learning journey.
In contrast, the WEB Olympiad is solely based on two exam rounds. Participation in the optional preparation course is available, but not required.
What is the WEB & WAW Bundle?
Students can enroll in both the WAW Competition and the WEB Olympiad to maximize their chances of winning. They receive access to one comprehensive 120-hour course, which serves a dual purpose: helping them earn points for the WAW Competition and prepare for the WEB Olympiad exams.
What is the Wonderland English Bees (WEB) Olympiad?
The WEB Olympiad is a global English language competition aimed at students aged 6 to 19. It promotes language proficiency and cross-cultural connections through comprehensive assessments in grammar, vocabulary, spelling, reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Who can participate in the WEB Olympiad?
The competition is open to students in grades 1-12, with categories divided by age and skill level to ensure fair and appropriate competition.

Is there a preparation course available for participants?

What does the competition entail?

The top performers qualify for the Global Finals in Hurghada, Egypt, which includes more comprehensive testing, fun activities and the Grand Awards Ceremony.
